Happy Award Nomination

It’s a real blessing to know my little BLOG has helped put a smile on someone’s heart. Thanks Hazel’s Crock Pot!What a wonderful honor to be nominated for the “Happy Award”. Many thanks to “Hazel’s Crock Pot Kitchen” for the nomination. “Hazel’s” BLOG is full of great recipes. I love her recipes for  my ladies fellowship group meetings. It’s like having my own chef to cook for our youth group. If you have not all ready done so, you should check out her BLOG.

Now I’m suppose to list 10 things that make me happy and then nominate more BLOGS for this award…

My Ten Happy Things Are:
~ First and foremost, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is so good to me and my family.
~ My family and friends whom I love each crazy thing they do.
~ Music soothes the soul. I cannot be grumpy when I have music playing. It is impossible not to smile.
~ Dancing always lifts my mood. I have so much fun dancing. It’s great exercise!
~ I love the four seasons. Each one brings me comfort and joy in different ways. The beauty of each season is breathtaking.
~ Writing is one of my most stress relieving hobbies. I love journaling!
~ Crafts are a passion of mine. I use crafts in my ministry often.
~ Chocolate is one of the first things a woman needs in a crisis. Put it in your survival kits!
~ I enjoy my computer most of the time. I love having Bible references with a few strokes on the keyboard.
~ I love spending time with my Christian friends in fellowship.

2. Hettie Harper at Creative Food Recipes – I don’t know what I did before I found this BLOG. Hettie’s recipes are easy and delicious. I can always find a last minute treat on her BLOG.

3. Zoey Brenna at Fun Activities For Children – My children love this BLOG almost as much as I do.

4. Kaety Ashlie over at Your Home Remedies – This BLOG has saved me so much money just by the tips she gives. This BLOG is great for anyone looking for natural remedies as well.

5. Christine Norris over at Landlord Tips – This BLOG has saved me more than once. I have a few rental properties and I always have questions. Christine is great at helping me in a pinch. Thanks Christine.

6. Lilfix at Hazel’s Crock Pot Kitchen – I’ve got to give a shout out to Lilfix. Her Hazel Crock Pot is amazing. I have to be out of my house often for various reasons and when I know I’m going to be gone, I bring up one of Hazel’s recipes and my family is in for a real treat. They love her recipes more than my own.

7. Kayleen over at Youth Group Resources – What a blessing Kayleen has been to my family. Whenever my teens have birthday parties, I can count on Kayleen to have a great idea for it. When tough topics come up with them, Kayleen really helps guide me.

8. Laci Henderson at Pinch Your Pennies – Everyone wants to save money and Laci shows us how to do it the easy ways. I’m embarrassed to say some of her tips are so easy I don’t why I didn’t think of them myself. She helped us save money on everything from groceries to our electric bill.

9. Jazlyn Sage at Easy and Fun Crafts – I wish I was half as creative as Jazlyn. I love to share her ideas with the ladies at my church.
