Expand Your Thinking By Broadening Your Focus

Most people who are unhappy are focusing on the wrong things. They are putting the focus on the small “box” before them. To change your negativity, broaden what you focus on.Focus on positive things like love, joy, contentment and excitement. Focus on your wonder and curiosity. Be amazed at the beauty that surrounds you.

When things start to go wrong, remind yourself of all the things that are right. Think about all of the good things in your life.

Don’t let anger take hold of your focus. Anger causes your focus to narrow and zoom in on your frustrations and the cause of your wrath. Suddenly your mind becomes bent on destruction of your heart.

Don’t let your anger steal your joy. Make an affirmation board. Fill it with positive thoughts and feelings. Put pictures that makes you smile all over your board. Make the board into a board that with only a glance, you can’t help but smile.

Remember to add your goals to your board. Your board can have pictures, poems, phrases, scripture, movie tickets, or any other item that makes you smile.
