Are there times when you need to change your “course” but feel justified in staying put?Something to Think About:
One dark, foggy night, the captain of a large navy ship noticed a light a good distance away. He signaled to the ship, “We are on a collision path. Change your course three degrees north.” The light flashed back, “I’m sorry, you need to change your course three degrees south.” The captain was stunned that the other ship refused to obey his command. Indignant, the captain responded, “I am the captain of a navy destroyer. Change your course three degrees north!” The light blinked back, “I am a lighthouse. Change your course three degrees south.”
